GAC all-solid-state power battery adopts solid-state anode technology with high area capacity and third-generation sponge silicon anode technology (new composite anode). Compared with the current top liquid, its volume energy density and mass energy density are improved. If it exceeds 50%, the cruising range of the vehicle can be stably exceeded, and it is expected to be carried on a good model in 2026.

In terms of safety, GAC’s all-solid-state power battery adopts high-strength and compact composite membrane. During the hot box test at 200℃, the battery does not explode, setting a new height battery for high specific energy safety.

In terms of capacity, the all-solid-state power battery realizes the manufacture of large-size multi-layer stacked all-solid-state batteries. Its capacity reaches 30Ah, far exceeding the highest level in the industry (10Ah-15Ah). It is a vehicle-class all-solid-state power battery. The application of batteries laid the foundation.

Compared with the current mainstream technology route, the map-free pure visual intelligent driving system launched by GAC on this Science and Technology Day not only does not need high-precision maps, but also does not rely on them. Instead, it combines with AI algorithm and feels like human beings. In the world, it is easier to achieve wider intelligent driving coverage.

It is reported that this system can accurately identify and understand the structure of roads, whether it is ramps, tunnels, bends, intersections, forks and other complex scenes.

Secondly, the system realizes the accurate identification of various signal light elements, including signal light type, various symbols and colors, countdown, flashing state and so on.

Thirdly, the sensing range of the system reaches more than 150 meters in front of the car, 100 meters behind the car and 50 meters around, which is 1.5 times of the industry level. In addition to common traffic factors such as vehicles, pedestrians, riders and small animals, the sensing category also includes small carts. Irregular obstacles such as vehicles and camping tents.

In the parking scene, the minimum error of the system can be controlled at 5cm, which can realize the most difficult three-dimensional parking space and narrow parking space in the industry.

It is worth noting that GAC has laid out two major technical routes in the field of autonomous driving technology: mainstream "multi-fusion technology" and forward-looking "map-free pure vision technology", both of which will get rid of dependence on high-precision maps.
